3M 6001 Respirator Filter Cartridge - 2pcs

The 3M 6001 respirator cartridge comes in 2 pieces, one for each respirator filter. This plastic cartridge contains granulated charcoal held in place by a fabric liner. Inclusion of a dust filter is optional. These organic cartridges help filter out solvents, odors, and more by absorbing chemicals with the carbon filter.

The 3M 6001 organic vapor cartridge is NIOSH approved for protection against certain types of organic vapors. This cartridge is compatible with most 3M half and full facepieces, as well as some 3M Scott full facepieces. These include the 6000, 7000, FF-400, AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 series. The low-profile design provides plenty of filtration without interfering with visibility. A built-in valve allows the user to talk while the mass is in use.

To meet OSHA requirements for spraying foam and polyurea, this filter cartridge must be used with a 5P71 prefilter and 501 retainer. These parts snap onto the 6001 filter, so they dont interfere with mask compatibility.
