The new version has more threads and the bottom is tapered. New version is on guns sold in 2013. Parts for the new version are 16P010, 16N599 and 16N600 The old version has less threads and the bottom is flat. The old version is for guns made prior to 2013. Parts for the old version are GC1904, GC1902 and GC1903
