SPF Depot
Providing Superior Parts, for less.
SPF Depot was founded by Patrick M. Gililland in November of 2005. Prior to opening, Pat served the fluid power engineering industry for 15 years. In the fluid power industry he designed tooling currently in use at General Motors, Georgia Pacific and International Paper. He also designed filtration systems to clean waste water (pink water) at ammunition plants. In 1998, he attended a laser technology school in Germany to meet with engineers to showcase his laser system and tooling for use in the Dental industry. He has developed new tools with specialized hard coatings for the oil field and plastic injection industry and increased tool and die life over 10 fold. Upon entering the spray foam insulation business, he realized the built in problems and defects with the guns, its parts and the pricing and quickly developed his own parts. After using his manufactured chambers, seals and side seal assembly, he saw a dramatic reduction in wear issues and marketed his first hard coated chambers. The original AR2929 treated has been used for 2 years with NO SCORE MARKS and is still in use in the field.
Pat is a member of the Home Builders Association-Shreveport and Construction Specifiers Institute. Pat served on the Board of Directors for the Independence Bowl Foundation for 3 years and served under Game Management for 7 years. He is past President of the Exchange Club, past Treasurer of Bellaire Baptist Church and is an Eagle Scout. Pat and his wife, Frances, have been married 21 years and have 6 grandchildren. Frances retired from BellSouth/AT&T and now works full time at SPF Depot.
On August 1, 2007, SPF Depot started manufacturing side seals for use in the Fusion and Gap spray guns along with mixing chambers for use in the FUSION gun. In January of 2008 they started manufacturing the side seal housings for use in the FUSION gun and the GAP gun 02 chamber and side seals. These parts are made from a superior grade of tool steel, fully heat treated to prevent wear on the outside as well as the interior. SPF Depot also packages the 3oz grease tube, O ring lube, TSL lube and SPF-6 solvent. The last quarter of 2008, SPF Depot released the ONLY ISO solvent to remove crystallized ISO resin from gun parts. In 2009, SPF Depot was manufacturing/supplying every part required to rebuild the Fusion gun. Gun handle casting was started late 2009.
SPF Depot is now manufacturing aftermarket parts for the new CS gun. OEM parts are also available to our customers at discounts as high as 50%.
